Pastor Jones arrived at Pekin Bible Church in September 1995 with his wife Molly and their four children. Their oldest son, Nathan, and his wife, Becky, are missionaries planting a church among the native people in Arctic Canada. Stephanie and her husband Bryan live in Oregon where he is an Associate Pastor. Stacy and her husband Dan live in Seattle. He is in grad school after serving five years as a youth pastor in the Chicago area. Chris is serving in his third year as a Resident Assistant at the Black Forest Academy in Germany. Alejandra, Miguel and Jose were adopted by the Joneses in 2005.

Born and raised in Canada, he came to the U.S. to study at Capital Bible Seminary, located just outside of Washington, D.C. It was there he and Molly met. After graduating with a Master of Theology degree, he pastored 5 years in Maryland and 5 years in New Jersey before coming to Pekin.

At Pekin Bible Church he led the Board of Family Ministries, overseeing the lay leaders of our ministries to Children, Youth, and Adult Bible Fellowship. In addition, he led the Worship Committee, planned and led worship and directed the choir. The Lord opened the opportunity for him to serve as Senior Pastor beginning in February 2000.
